Meet our Youth Pastor

​

Stephen was born and raised “on the east coast” as he often shares, moving around many times when he was in school. This ultimately led him to Liberty University, where he majored in Aviation Maintenance Management. After completing his bachelor’s degree, the Lord reaffirmed his calling on Stephen’s life to be equipped for ministry leadership.

 

Through a number of sovereign connections, Stephen landed at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he completed his Master of Divinity degree in 2020. Since completion of that degree, Stephen met and fell in love with the greatest gift he has ever received, his wife Shelby. Stephen and Shelby met at Southeastern, where Shelby serves as the Director of Dual Enrollment and completed her Doctorate of Education.

 

They are prayerfully expecting their firstborn in the fall of 2026. Stephen has a heart to see the local church in America be a gospel-centered, disciple-equipping body of Christ that reaches out to our neighbors. He also enjoys any quality time spent with Shelby, working out, watching sports, (lots!) of podcasts, and reading. During the work day, Stephen can be found at a local automotive repair center in Youngsville, North Carolina where he serves his community as a Business Manager.
