OUR PURPOSE
As followers of Jesus Christ we profess a living faith. Our faith is rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ who is "the same yesterday, and today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8) Therefore, the sole authority for faith and practice is Jesus Christ whose will is revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
CORE BELIEFS
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence, or being.
Furthermore, we believe in the humanity and deity of Jesus Christ - His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious suffering, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, His personal future return to this earth in power and glory.
OUR COMMUNITY
At Bethlehem, we believe that our purposed mission is not exclusively to spread the Gospel to and serve the nations around our world, but also to be a major part of our community at home. In as many ways as we find possible, we desire to pour out our time, our energy, and our resources on our local community – right here in Youngsville, NC and the greater Triangle area – for the glory of God and the advancement of His Gospel.
